How To Know If Your Are Barred From Travelling Overseas?

If you are planning to travel overseas, please bear in mind that you can be barred from travelling overseas for criminal charges, a bankrupt, default on tax, and default on any other loan payments.

To save your time from knowing whether your are barred from travelling overseas, we provide you steps you can follow to check your blacklist status through online.

1. Visit Immigration Department of Malaysia website or click here http://sspi.imi.gov.my/sspi/
2. Enter your Identity Card (IC) number on the box provided (Text field).
3. Click “Semak” button.
4.  The status should show “Tiada Halangan (No Restriction)” if your are not barred from travelling overseas. Any other status than that, you should refer to Immigration Deparment of Malaysia.
