INTERNSHIP

The internship program offers undergraduates a valuable opportunity to immerse themselves in a professional services environment and gain real-world exposure. It allows them to experience work life firsthand, enabling them to learn and grow while being part of the dynamic working world.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in audit/tax/accounting engagements.

Requirement:

  • Required Language: Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.
  • Enthusiastic students with good communication skills
  • Dedicated to finish their jobs is a given time

Responsibilities:

  • Provide relevant taxation support to clients by handling tax related matters issues/queries, i.e. tax audit, correspondence with LHDN etc
  • Ensure update, maintaining, and filling of documents to relevant Government bodies, i.e. IRB (LHDN) by using official portals
  • Handle tax compliance and computation works including preparation and submission of tax computations and tax returns for corporate tax, limited liability partnership, personal tax, employer and etc.
  • Preparing tax computation, capital allowance schedule and analysis

Requirement:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Taxation/Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related position is preferred for this position.
  • Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Finance – Taxation or equivalent.
  • Salary will commensurate academic qualification and working experience possessed.
  • Proficient in SPC Tax system is much preferably.

Location:

  • DBKK H-2-28, 2nd Floor, Block H, Inanam Capital, 88450 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients to collect information, address issues, and offer recommendations for enhancing their business processes.
  • Additional Duties: Be ready to perform ad-hoc duties as necessary to support the team and project requirements.

  • Education: Possess at least a degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English.

  • Supporting or independently preparing accounting and individual tax engagements.
  • Ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks.

Requirement:

  • Tax agent is preferred
  • Professional qualifications (eg. CPA, MIA, ACCA, CTIM & etc)
  • Possess knowledges in basic accountings
  • At least 3 years or above experiences in taxation matters
  • Resourceful & self advancement
  • Good command of English, Bahasa and Mandarin
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Team Management: Manage and guide audit teams.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in financial statements.
  • Audit Execution: Oversee audit procedures and controls.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to standards and policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Review and validate financial statements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with auditing standards.
  • Business Development: Identify new service opportunities.
  • Professional Development: Mentor and support team members
  • Audit Reporting: Prepare comprehensive audit reports.
  • Issue Resolution: Address complex accounting and auditing issues.

Requirement:

  • Degree or diploma holders in Accounting / Finance or those with a full or partial professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA, ICAEW, ICA, ICAA and CPA Australia)
  • Team players who are also able to work well independently and under a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Perform audit engagements from planning to completion, monitoring the engagement progress against budget and timeline
  • Assist to develop risk assessments and determine the appropriate audit strategy for each assignment
  • Min 4-5 years relevant working experience
  • To provide mentorship to associates on firm audit approaches
  • Provide quality assurance of audit file
